The serenely elegant designs of this collection were derived from the 18th century French carpets that first brought Persian and Oriental rug motifs to the royal courts of Europe. Yarns for these distinctive carpets are spun exclusively from the highest quality wool. A hand tufted construction of extraordinary density creates a tight, luxurious pile that is a pleasure to both the eye and the touch. Delicate accents of hand carving highlight the contours of each design to enhance a look of rare subtlety and refinement.
